Why I created this course

Before enrolling to sewing school in 2016, I've been sewing at home as a self-taught sewist for 7 years. I felt like I've hit a ceiling and couldn't go past certain sewing quality level on my own. That changed at sewing school, where I quickly realized that there's no 'magic secret' to sewing and all I needed to do to reach high quality level were small changes in my sewing routines. Those small changes gave me a leap I needed and transformed my sewing results.

With this course, I want to help you do the same - upgrade your sewing routines with small changes that will lead to professional level results. I teach only classic, timeless patternmaking, fitting, cutting and sewing techniques that you'll be able to use in all your future sewing projects. By creating a skirt and a dress that are made to fit your body measurements, you'll experience the next level of comfort and it'll become a wardrobe piece you'll cherish for decades.

I focus on teaching not only 'how', but also 'why' as I believe that understanding the 'why' behind every step is a fundamental part of the learning process. Completing this course will take time and effort, but you'll see how simple classic techniques can be.
